About MAHC

Led by CEO Rodney Thomason, MAHC's executive team has built a broadly diversified holding company from the ground up in less than a decade.

Beginning with four employees in 2000, management has grown the company through mergers, acquisitions and internal growth to nearly 300 employees and $70 million in annual revenues.

Within the management company are nearly 40 discrete businesses representing diverse categories of the healthcare management, delivery, services and supplies categories, along with hospitality and real estate holdings.

Rodney Thomason

Chief Executive Officer

Rodney Thomason 
is a successful entrepreneur 
and corporate leader who has proven himself in diverse businesses. When the medical device company for which he was working sold in 2000, Thomason founded Medical Imaging Sales and Service – later renamed Southeast Imaging LLC – which now serves five states and represents well-known imaging brands such as Sectra PACS, Carestream, Quantum and Fuji Medical.

Thomason has since developed several additional medical-related companies, which include medical billing services, health care facility development and management, and senior living centers. He and his team established Medical Assets Holding Company in 2000 to provide administrative, payroll, financial management and other services for companies within the corporate family.

A native of Arkansas, Thomason attended the University of Arkansas and began his professional career in pharmaceutical sales before transitioning to medical equipment and real estate development. He is a member of the Arkansas Heart Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.

Scott Peek
President

Scott Peek served in high-ranking management positions at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville for 32 years. As CEO, Peek oversaw all aspects of the facility – named a Top 100 hospital six years in a row – and answered to a seven-member board. Peek also oversaw $30 million in upgrades during his tenure.

Today as president, Peek is continuing his pursuit of quality as part of the Medical Assets Holding Company team. He now oversees overall operations, financials and goals for the company, which serves a wide variety of health care businesses.

Peek is a member and past president of Danville Chamber of Commerce, a member of the City Planning Commission, a member and past president of Lions Club, and a deacon at First Baptist Church in Danville. He holds a bachelor of business administration degree and a bachelor of science degree in economics and finance from Arkansas Tech University. He and his wife, Lisa, have three children and two grandchildren.

Ann McClure
Director of Operations / Controller

Ann McClure has more than 10 years public accounting experience working in tax and management consulting. She brings over 20 years of overall accounting experience, from being accounting manager for a Memphis-based retail chain operating 400 locations to 5 years with a minor league baseball club where she was brought in to restructure the accounting and controls system, which eliminated massive amounts of waste. Her past experience became a valuable asset to Medical Assets Holding Company when McClure came on board in 2013. She works directly with Fox Ridge administrators, assisting in the operational decisions of each facility. In her role as controller, she works with the CFO in developing budgets for all entities managed by our organization while making sure the directors appropriately track progress within those budgets.

McClure holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting. She is originally from Memphis and relocated to Maumelle in 2003 where she resides with her husband, Jimmy. When she is not busy working, she enjoys following the University of Memphis Tigers basketball / football team and riding her bike along the banks of the Arkansas River.

Elwood Bonner
Chief Financial Officer

Elwood Bonner joined the team in 2008 following a career of more than 30 years in public accounting. As president and owner of Bonner & Company, CPAs, from 1983 to 2008, he managed a 500-client firm specializing in construction and medical facilities. His career includes a number of noteworthy achievements: his management consulting business assisting two small mom-and-pop businesses to expand to multimillion-dollar companies; providing tax planning and consulting for a corporate retail chain with more than $40 million in annual sales; and developing specialized small-business fraud detection plans and uncovering 25+ cases totaling more than $2,000,000 in fraud.

As the external CPA for Medical Assets Holding Company since its formation, Bonner has been involved with tax returns and financial strategies for our companies throughout their development.

Bonner received his BBA in accounting from the University of Central Arkansas in 1976. He loves golf, hunting, fishing and traveling with his wife and daughter. Bonner and his wife attend New Life Church in Maumelle.
